Our birth father (and his family) also decided that since our birth mom wanted to chose adoption, that she should have given them "first dibbs" on the baby. As if a woman who considering adoption doesn't care about the baby, and it means she's just throwing the baby out into the Ether, so why not give the baby to them? Oh brother.
