Nerd Alert!

Can I interrupt my usual fare for a bit of nerdish pleading?

According to the Google Analytics for this blog, 44% of you are using Internet Explorer. Forty-four percent! Allow me to share my thoughts on Internet Explorer.

Trust me, peeps, once you go Firefox, you'll never go back. Also, for the 73% of you who are using Windows, I'd like to recommend Ubuntu. You don't have to be a Mac or a PC.

Okay, I'm done geeking out. Thanks for listening.

This post made me laugh. I'm a Firefox girl, but I also am a Mac (for now anyway).

An Ubuntu shout out, how interesting. My hubby used Ubuntu in his work, but I thought that was reserved for a special breed of physicist geek. You have clearly crossed some lines here.

LOL, Rachel! I am not a physicist geek, but I am a very special breed of geek nonetheless. I love Ubuntu, and I will shout it from the rooftops! Incidentally, I was converted by my big brother, who is in a geek league of his own, so there you are.

I've been using Firefox for years, pretty much since it came out and my Java obsessed programmer brother told me it was the best.

People get so passionate about this kind of stuff. It's almost like discussing politics or religion. I used Firefox once upon a time...and I DID go back to IE. Eeek! I use Safari at work and prefer it the mostest. Although I prefer my PC over my Mac. Don't bother trying to figure it out or change my mind. I make both PC lovers and Apple lovers crazy. Oh, and probably Linux lovers too.

For a long time, Firefox was the only way I could write blog posts on my computer, Safari and blogger just couldn't seem to get along.
I use Firefox on my computer, but IE on my husband's computer (We have a mixed marriage, I'm a Mac and he's a PC. The children are being raised Mac, however, they are exploring their PC heritage.)
Actually, I have to use the PC, because the kids have put so much stuff on my MAC (photos, videos, etc..) that it runs too slow for me. (plus, the PC is in the kitchen, which is closer to my stash of Diet Dr Pepper)

I use Firefox, much easier to use than IE!
