It is super late, and I am very tired, and I am currently Lord Mayor of Allergy Town, and I should be asleep, not blogging. So I'll make this short and sweet.

Today's visit with Roo and her awesome family? Pretty much the best thing EVER. I am a very spoiled, very happy girl. Also, you should all be insanely jealous of my little Roo, because she is the sweetest, smartest, most beautiful girl in the known universe, and she has the best, most amazing family ever. I love them all forever :)

Merry Christmas, blog peeps!

Merry Christmas! Sorry I've been neglectful with commenting. ROO IS DA BOMB, end of story. She is so munchy. I hope you have a great Christmas and that your allergies take a hike (did you just think of that creepy mucinex dude? I did.)

Was there anything particular that made this such a good visit? Glad you had a good visit, by the way. I always wonder what our birth parents' expectations of visits are and if we can make them better.

At the risk of sounding really unhelpful, everything made it a good visit. Everything went well. The visit lasted the right amount of time, there wasn't any crabbiness or fits or owies or anything with the little girls, we had great conversation, and I got some snuggle time with Roo at the end - that was probably the best part. It was good to watch her play and hear her talk and things - just to get a sense of what kind of fun little person she is. And I got quite a few pictures, which I always like as well.

I know this was meant to be a happy post but it made me cry. I am insanely jealous of your open adoption.
